Attitude towards an employee is derived from the nature of his job and status, all the people and customers he is in daily work communication with (work interfaces), the management style of the direct manager and the organisational culture in the company. The attitude is greatly influenced by the state of the labour market and the culture in that country and whether the employee is protected under a labour organisation or whether the manager's way of communication with the employees.
our attitude towards life determines life's attitude towards you
Workplace misbehaviour in our world is a common issue and socially it is customary not to talk about it unless in close conversations with family and friends. If an employee gets into a state of abuse and extreme disrespect, this affects the other areas of life and usually the employee will be sentenced to change jobs. Except for rare cases in which this relationship will be addressed and changed. Because of a lack of a respectful work culture, colleagues and managers allow themselves to play power games, (physical, mental and also financial abuse) to treat employees with disdain and to throw things at them.
You are invited to read more about the different types of abuse in the workplace (Workplace Bullying) and find out that chances are that you too have experienced abuse at one level or another. (we all had it in one way or another)
If there is a respectful and clear work culture of relationships in the workplace (and this is our goal in this project, hold our hands and share to spread the news) by organisations and organisations that will set clear and good boundaries for different situations, it will be possible to prevent the legitimacy of these power games and improve the quality of life of the employees in all respects.
